Day 13 – An Unusual Eagle Project

As Boy Scout leaders for almost 20 years we saw, and participated in, quite a few Eagle Scout projects, including that of our son. A majority of the projects had something to do with the environment. It might be restoring streambanks or replanting native vegetation. Or they had something to do with helping animals or people. However, the park at Bemidji revealed an unusual project.

There was an Eagle Scout project at the Bemidji city park that had to do with music! There were large xylophones and drums that children could create music with. Of course, adults could also experiment with the large scale instruments.

It was a unique project that will benefit the members of the community, and visitors, for many years to come. Way to go!
