Three days to departure? We'll see...

School is out as of 11:45 today, my room is packed up and cleaned out for summer maintenance, one day of staff training tomorrow, and a dentist appointment Wednesday. However, Pat is still working on installing an additional antennae for our Sirius radio since the camper blocks the signal, and then our 13 year old cat, Millie, was obviously in pain Sunday afternoon (yesterday), so we zipped in to the vet. Three hours and $$$ later, she has a severe sprain on one heel due to compensating for arthritis in the other leg. As a result, our departure depends on if she is feeling better! Well, I guess that will give me another day, or two, or three to figure out some new technology like the attached picture I doodled on my Rocketbook.

PS. As I am new to this blogging thing, feedback regarding how it comes through on the viewer's side would be helpful. For example, do the pictures take long to open?

  1. When I was working on the road we had a portable antenna we would put onto the work trailer at times to be able to have music while working at the same site for a long day or days. It was nice because it was magnetic and had a roughly 25' cord on it. I hope you're able to get that connected, it is so nice to have one.
Although at times it'll go out if there are too many trees. There was a time I was pulled over from supposedly driving erratically near Chemult, OR because I kept hugging the center line to get good reception. It was listening to a very close football game. I pointed at the antenna on my hood and explained the situation. The trooper laughed and told me, "in all his years, he'd never heard that one!" I got a warning. :o)
